Hello Chandler, I’m Vice Mayor Rene Lopez. During this unprecedented time, our nonprofits are working hard to continue to provide much-needed services to residents, and they need your help. For Our City – Chandler is working diligently to be the ongoing collective source of information for residents who are in need of assistance and for those who are looking for ways to help. You can visit forourcitychandler.org for updated, real-time information on both the services provided and the needs of Chandler nonprofits. Although we have many nonprofits in Chandler dedicated to serving our residents, the website will focus on high-risk populations that may be affected by COVID-19. Many nonprofits have shared that monetary donations are one of the best ways you can help. Funding can help with things such as: • Scheduling a nurse to do quality checks on homebound seniors. • Purchasing essential supplies for staff assisting residents. • Food banks obtaining enough food for clients. • Food and staff to help maintain the meals-on-wheels program for seniors. Again, please visit the For Our City – Chandler website for up-to-date information on how you can help your neighbors in need. https://forourcitychandler.org Thank you for your support. Please visit chandleraz.gov/COVID19 and follow our social media channels for daily updates.
